I am planning to run the full length of Malawi next year and I am currently looking for sponsors etc. I was BBC radio last night…
In 2009 I was part of an incredible team that visited FOMO, I saw first hand the inspiring work they do.
This inspired me to continue to support and raise money for these incredible children. I have now set the task to raise £35,000 to build a school block to extend the secondary school which opened late last year. The block will include 2 science labs, an art room and a general classroom.
The land and plans are all ready as soon as we reach the target the building can start.
As part of my fund raising I completed 3 marathons and a 58km UltraMarathon in 10 weeks so far.
In September 2015 I am going to attempt to run Coast to coast 192 miles in 7 days. Starting in St Bees and running across the UK to the east and finishing in Robin Hoods Bay.
More about FOMO: From small beginnings in the year 2000 FOMO now looks after over 5000 children through a network of 13 centres covering over 85 villages in Mulanje district of Malawi. FOMO Provides Health Care, Formal and Informal Education, Food Security and Daily Activities. Everything raised will go to Malawi to Help the children.
Thank you for taking the time to read this,
Brendan
